Russell Family Health Learning Foundation ("RFHLF," "we," "our") is a Wyoming nonprofit corporation with its principal office in the State of Wyoming, operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

We are committed to protecting the personal information you entrust to us and to full transparency in how that information is collected, used, retained, and safeguarded.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver our mentorship, scholarship, and educational programs:

• Identity data: full name and email address for mentorship matching, program enrollment, and communications.
• Contact data: phone number (optional) for session coordination and scheduling confirmations.
• Application data: essays, transcripts, and supplemental materials submitted voluntarily through scholarship or mentorship applications.
• Transaction data: donation and session-payment records processed by Stripe. RFHLF never receives or stores full card numbers.
• Usage data: anonymized analytics (page views, referral source) collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No personal identifiers are linked.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to: match you with qualified mentors; send program updates, session confirmations, and scholarship notifications; process donations and session payments securely; improve our programs and user experience; and comply with applicable federal and Wyoming state laws.

Data Protection & Security

All data transmitted through our platform is encrypted via TLS 1.2+ (SSL). Data at rest is protected by industry-standard encryption. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with nonprofit best practices and applicable data-protection standards.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise disclose your personal data to third-party marketing firms, advertisers, data brokers, or any unaffiliated entity. This commitment is unconditional.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data only with service providers essential to our operations: Stripe (payment processing), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Web3Forms (form submissions), and Google Workspace (email communications). Each provider is contractually bound to use data solely for the services we engage them to perform.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time, and we will process your request within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Submit requests to support@rfhlf.org and we will respond within 30 calendar days. If you are a resident of a state with consumer privacy legislation, you retain all rights afforded under that law.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses minimal first-party cookies for session functionality (theme preference, scroll position). We do not deploy tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or behavioral profiling technologies.

Children's Privacy

Our programs are designed for college-age and adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Russell Family Health Learning Foundation ("RFHLF") website, platform, or any of our programs, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). RFHLF is a Wyoming nonprofit corporation operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our platform.

Eligibility

Our platform is intended for individuals aged 18 and older, or minors with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By using our services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Use of Platform

RFHLF provides educational mentorship, career-planning resources, and scholarship opportunities for aspiring healthcare students. The platform is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Users agree to engage with mentors, staff, and the broader community with professionalism, honesty, and mutual respect.

Community Standards & Code of Conduct

Users shall not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive behavior of any kind. Misrepresentation of credentials, academic history, or identity is prohibited. RFHLF reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any user who violates these standards, without refund or prior notice, at its sole discretion.

Not Medical or Professional Advice

All mentorship, content, and educational materials provided through RFHLF are strictly for educational and career-planning purposes. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal counsel, or financial guidance. Always consult a licensed professional for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Participation in RFHLF programs does not guarantee admission to any university, medical school, nursing program, or residency, nor does it guarantee passing scores on any board or licensure examination, including but not limited to the NCLEX, USMLE, MCAT, or APMLE.

Donations & Processing Fees

Donations are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Standard processing fees (~2.9% + $0.30 for card payments) are deducted by Stripe before funds reach RFHLF. A portion of remaining funds covers necessary platform and operational costs (hosting, compliance, tools, and staff directly supporting program delivery). All net proceeds are directed to student-facing programs. Donors acknowledge that RFHLF allocates funds at its discretion in furtherance of its charitable mission. Session Payments & Cancellation Policy

Paid mentorship sessions are non-refundable except as follows: cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable. RFHLF reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to mentor availability, with full refund offered if no alternative time is suitable.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, program materials, and software, is the exclusive property of RFHLF or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Wyoming law, RFHLF, its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, participation in programs, or reliance on information provided through our services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RFHLF, its board members, officers, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

Corporate Formation

The Russell Family Health Learning Foundation ("RFHLF") is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Wyoming under the Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act (W.S. 17-19-101 et seq.). Our Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State and establish RFHLF as an organization operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.

Federal Tax-Exempt Status

RFHLF is organized and operated exclusively for purposes described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our federal tax-exemption application (IRS Form 1023) is currently pending review by the Internal Revenue Service.

Tax Deductibility of Contributions

Contributions made to RFHLF during the pending period may qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions under IRC Section 170, subject to ultimate IRS determination and retroactive approval. Donors are strongly encouraged to consult a qualified tax advisor regarding the deductibility of their contributions.

Financial Transparency Commitment

RFHLF is committed to the highest standards of financial transparency. Upon receipt of our 501(c)(3) determination, we will publicly disclose:

• IRS Determination Letter confirming tax-exempt status
• Annual IRS Form 990 (Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax)
• Audited or reviewed financial statements as the organization grows
• Detailed program expense ratios and fund allocation reports

Net proceeds, after mandatory payment-processing fees (Stripe) and minimal operational costs, are directed exclusively to student-facing programs in furtherance of our charitable mission.

Board of Directors

RFHLF is governed by a Board of Directors who serve in a fiduciary capacity without compensation. State Compliance

RFHLF maintains good standing with the Wyoming Secretary of State and complies with all applicable state reporting requirements, including annual reports and registered-agent filings. As operations expand to additional states, we will register in each jurisdiction as required by that state's charitable solicitation laws.

Mentor Qualifications & Scope

Mentors participate in their individual capacity and are not acting as representatives, agents, or employees of any hospital, clinic, university, or professional licensing body.

The guidance they provide reflects personal experience only and does not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing, podiatric medicine, or any other licensed profession. RFHLF does not verify, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any information shared during mentorship sessions. RFHLF does not hold itself out as a licensed healthcare provider, accredited educational institution, or professional licensing authority.

Assumption of Risk

By participating in RFHLF programs, you acknowledge that mentorship is informal and peer-based. You assume full responsibility for any decisions you make based on information received through our programs.

Pending 501(c)(3) Status

RFHLF is incorporated as a nonprofit in Wyoming with a pending 501(c)(3) federal tax-exemption application. Tax-deductibility of donations made during the pending period is subject to ultimate IRS approval and retroactive determination. Our Commitment to Donor Transparency

Every donor deserves to know exactly how their gift is used. This policy explains how donations are received, processed, allocated, and reported. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of nonprofit financial stewardship.

Payment Processing (Stripe)

All donations are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment platform. Stripe charges standard processing fees deducted before funds reach RFHLF:

• Card payments: ~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
• ACH bank transfers: ~0.8% (capped at $5.00)
• Recurring donations: same rates as above, charged each billing cycle

RFHLF does not mark up, retain, or profit from any portion of payment-processing fees. Donors may optionally choose to cover the processing fee so that 100% of their intended gift reaches the foundation.

Fund Allocation

After Stripe's processing fees are deducted, remaining funds are allocated as follows:

• Program services (majority of funds): mentorship program operations, scholarship fund development, educational workshops, career resources, and direct student support.
• Operational expenses (minimal): website hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare), email and communication tools, scheduling platforms, Wyoming state filing fees, registered-agent costs, legal and compliance expenses, and compensation for staff and contractors directly supporting program delivery.

As the organization grows, we will publish detailed expense ratios in our annual reports. Our goal is to maximize the percentage of every dollar that directly benefits students.

Donor Intent

Unless a donor designates their gift for a specific program, donations are applied to RFHLF's general fund and allocated at the Board's discretion in furtherance of the organization's charitable mission. Restricted gifts will be honored as designated; if a restriction cannot be fulfilled, the donor will be contacted to discuss alternatives.

Tax Deductibility

RFHLF's federal tax-exemption application (IRS Form 1023) is currently pending. Contributions made during this period may qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions under IRC Section 170, subject to ultimate IRS determination and retroactive approval. RFHLF does not provide tax advice; please consult a qualified tax professional regarding the deductibility of your contribution.

Donation Receipts

Donors will receive an email confirmation for every transaction processed through Stripe. Upon receipt of our 501(c)(3) determination, RFHLF will issue formal written acknowledgment letters for contributions of $250 or more, as required by IRS regulations.

Refund Policy

Charitable donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error or was unauthorized, contact us within 14 days at support@rfhlf.org and we will investigate promptly. Mentorship session fees cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.

No Goods or Services in Exchange

Unless otherwise stated, no goods or services are provided in exchange for charitable donations. Donors to our general fund receive no tangible benefit in return, consistent with IRS requirements for charitable contribution treatment.

Anonymous Donations

Donors may choose to remain anonymous. Anonymous gifts are subject to the same allocation and reporting policies as attributed donations.
